Def Jam's hot new girl group interviews with Fiyamag

Universal/Island DefJam’s hot new group Electrik Red graced Atlanta with their lovely presence recently. This four person, all lovely, very sexy, female group; hail from Toronto, Canada and New York City. They all met as dancers and have been in various videos from Dream to Usher to Snoop to P Diddy. Wow the list goes on and on. After forming they were signed to a production deal with Rodney Jerkins. .

Since and even before signing to Island DefJam you could find them all over the internet. There MySpace and YouTube presence is way off the Richter.

They have worked with production heavy weights like the Red Zone in Atlanta, and on the likes of Tricky Stewart and the Dream. He produced the stand out single “We F*ck You”.

Not your typical “R&B glam girl group”, this group is definitely “URBAN WORLD”. These girls are sexy, exciting, rocking; and full of soul. You never know what they are going to say next, and we love them all the more for it.

There lead single is, “Drink in My Cup” and gaining adds all over the country. The video is hot and is done glam style in a club in downtown Los Angeles. One particular scene shows them steaming it up in a restroom scene.

This group is definitely not your, run-of-the-mill group, and their individual personalities are definitely showcased in this ensemble. They are not a cookie cutter group, and know each other very well. It takes FIYA, to bring out “Electrik Red”.
